Privacy First

This application does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server. Your data stays yours. The entire source code is publicly available — you can verify every claim on this page yourself.

Local Storage

Notes and settings are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you opt in to Google Drive sync.

Google Drive Sync

If you choose to sign in with Google, the application requests access to a hidden, app-specific folder on your Google Drive (drive.appdata scope). This means:

The app can only read and write its own hidden folder — it has no access to any other files on your Drive.
Your notes are stored in your own Google Drive account, under your own storage quota. There is no server involved.
Your Google credentials are never seen or stored by the app. Authentication is handled entirely by Google in your browser.
You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions.

Cookies & Tracking

We do not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking mechanisms.

Third Parties

We do not share any data with third parties. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which serves the static files but has no access to your notes or any content you create.
